Balers, bale wrappers, front loaders, feeder wagons, manure spreaders, farming trailers, disc cultivators - these are the flagships of the leading Polish manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment - Metal-Fach. The Company, which is located in Sokółka, has gained trust among farmers in Poland and all round the world over the years.
The story of the Metal-Fach brand reaches back to 1989. During the first years of its existence, the focus was on activities related to heating technology, and making and improving central-heating boilers. Since 1998, the Company has been a major player in the production and sales of agricultural machinery, as all products are characterised by durability, ease of use, and modern design.
The dynamic development of the brand was greatly influenced by EU funding. Thanks to this, the machine park was enhanced and developed. Today, Metal-Fach boasts fully equipped production halls, a modern paint shop with cataphoresis, an innovative research centre for wheels, and laboratories for production-quality control. Over the years, Metal-Fach has expanded its business, investing in dynamic growth, and has thus gained the trust of farmers.
2009 was an important year in the history of Metal-Fach. It was then, after the purchase of the Nova brand, that the production of semi-trailers began. Four years later, the Metal-Fach team succeeded in launching a production line for rims, and in the following years the product range was extended into steel structures.
The dynamic growth and interest of foreign contractors led the Company to open branches in Sweden, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia. What is interesting is that our machines are exported to all the continents of the world, and about 70% of production is exported.
Today, the Company’s area covers 16.5 ha, including 4.3 ha of roofed halls. The Company currently employs around 800 people, and is one of the major employers in the region.
Metal-Fach cooperates with top brands which are renowned the world over. The group includes John Deere, Zetor, Farmtrac, Feraboli, Ursus, Bonnel, Talex and Samasz.
In recent years Metal-Fach has once again focused on investments in the machine park. From 2017 to 2018, a total of PLN 40 million was spent on the improvement and modernisation of the production line. During this time, as many as 9 welding robots, 7 lasers, and 31 numerical machines (turning and milling centres) were purchased. As a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and tractors, we also attach great importance to ecology. In 2017, a filtration unit which limits the emission of volatile organic compounds was purchased.
As a result of many years of activity, the Company has developed unique production and service capabilities for individual and group customers. The Company has also received many prestigious awards. In 2006, Metal-Fach won 1st place and the title of Business Gazelle (Gazela Biznesu). A year later, the Company was awarded the bronze statuette of Staff-Friendly Employer (Pracodawca Przyjazny Załodze). In 2014, Metal-Fach was awarded first prize in the prestigious Polish Masters of Business competition. The list of prizes is very long.
this is how the agricultural machines and equipment supplied by Metal-Fach to its customers can be described in a nutshell. The brand is constantly focused on quality and growth – all in order to best meet the expectations of today’s agriculture.
